Patient Survey Results *

Five physician offices, or practices, volunteered to report results of a patient survey on myCareCompare.org. By participating in this pilot project, these practices are taking the first steps towards the use of a standard patient experience survey across our community.
The physician practices included in the report are part of two health systems:

The survey asked patients if their doctors explained things clearly, listened carefully, showed respect, provided easy to understand instructions, knew their medical history, and spent enough time with the patient. The scores show how often patients reported "definitely, yes."
The survey asked patients if office staff were helpful and treated them with courtesy and respect. The scores show how often patients reported "definitely, yes."
The survey asked patients how often they got appointments for care as soon as needed and timely answers to questions when they called the office. The survey also asked patients how often they saw the doctor within 15 minutes of their appointment time. The scores show how often patients reported "always."
The survey asked the patients to rate their doctors on a scale of 0 to 10, with 0 being the worst and 10 being the best. The scores indicate how often patients rated their doctors 9 or 10.
